While we were camped near Augusta over Easter, went for a swim at Flinders bay, the water was crystal clear & just a touch chilly.

Busselton to Ferguson Valley

Bob & I were out & about for a day trip while we were housesitting in Busselton in March. Ferguson valley is about 1 1/2hr drive east from B/ton.

We had heard about a place called Gnomesville so decided it was worth a look. In the middle of nowhere where a couple of country roads meet at a roundabout, with 100's & 100's NO thousands of Gnomes of all shapes & sizes, sitting along the road side, sitting in trees, under the shade of the trees

Cow Parade Margaret river Mar - June 2010

Since leaving Busselton in March & meandering through the Margaret river wine region we have been chasing the cows in the "COW PARADE" at all the wineries, chocolate & coffee houses, chemist, art galleries, hardware shops, lighthouses etc. They are everywhere & once you see one, you get addicted to finding the rest of them. I managed to take photos of 82 from 84, not bad.

Hope you like my cows, I just fell in love with them. Some were very cleverly named, painted & absolutely GORGEOUS.

These are the girls I was in London with all those years ago in the 1970's. While I was housesitting in Busselton they had a get together & I caught the bus to Perth for weekend.

Dale, Del, Anka, Leonie, Di, Julie, Jeanette, Gail, & Jan.
40 + years on, & we are all well & truly ALIVE & enjoying life to the fullest.

What a time we had telling stories from way back then, not to mention the many glasses of wine that passed our lips.

On our way to Busselton

After arriving back in Sydney on 18th February from our cruise to New Zealand we spent a couple weeks catching up with family & friends. Flew back to Perth on 3rd March & picked up "Witchwae" from caravan park near the airport. Was supposed to be in their compound @ $7 per day. Turned out to be on the front lawn next to their front windows. At least it was safe & they had reconnected battery etc & was ready in drive way waiting for our return & hasty departure. We had 3 days to get down to Busselton for our next housesit x 2 weeks.
