Mahogany Inn - Perth Hills - May 2010
One sunny Sunday afternoon decided to go for drive up to the Perth hills & found this lovely old Mahogany Inn. Built in 1849 & still trading.
They make the yummiest/largest scones I have ever seen.
Definitely DEVONSHIRE TEA TIME !!!!!

Elvis is in the house -- York town hall
We arrived in York yesterday after spending a week travelling up from Albany, making our way to Perth for another housesit.
Much to our surprise & good luck ELVIS IS IN TOWN, so booked into the show. I got all dressed up in my R N Roll gear only to find I was the only with fancy clothes on. Everyone else turned up in jeans & very large eskies. We had a great time & danced till we dropped. About 80 people were there, so had a good vibe & girls we standing by the stage, crooning over Elvis, but it set the scene for some good fun.

Day Trip to Balingup
Whilst staying in Nannup with some friends we met last year at Onslow WA, they took us for a drive to do the touristy thing & we ended up in Balingup.
Scarecrows everywhere, not sure if they were trying to outdo the "Cow Parade" in Margaret river area, but either way they were very cute & eye catching.

Anzac day in Albany
I'm abit late with this one. ANZAC DAY in Albany last year. They had a march & ceremony down by the waterfront at the new ANZAC PEACE PARK. Albany was where 59 ships left to take all the Australian & NZ soldiers to the first World war. For some this was the last time they ever saw OZ as they died overseas fighting for KING & COUNTRY.

Windy harbour April 2010
GONE FISHING !!!!
Bob decided to try his luck at fishing. We were camped at Windy harbour near Walpole. Nice spot right on the coast, rugged coastline, sandy beaches & windy & cold.
After several hours Bob returned to camp empty handed. Last time he caught DINNER was in Darwin. Thank goodness for the Fish & Chip shop !!!!!
