Athena comes to town

 

Bob & I drove into town to see the Athena Cruise ship come into town this morning. Athena is Perths LOVE BOAT!! Athena is about the same size as the Regal Princess that Bob & I did the 2 night cruise to Bahamas when we went to the US in 2007

Jan's been busy

 

I spent Tuesday afternoon being very domesticated. Bob & I just love pickles & chutneys. Every time we go to markets & craft shops first thing I look for is some homemade pickles etc. Decided to make some myself & must say they turned out pretty good, bit spicy but will go very nicely with cold cornbeef or pickled pork

Stairs on the Bibbulmun track near Cosy corner. This track stretches from Kalamunda in hills near Perth all the way to Albany approx 965 kms. That's one hell've walk!!!

New Years Eve in Albany

Albany celebrates New Years Eve with fireworks down on harbour front.

Bob & I had a lovely time dancing the night away @ local Country music club NY eve dance. Live band "Outback" played some great dancing music & fun time had by all.
