The Cornish festival is held bi-annually in the towns of Kadina, Moonta & Wallaroo on the Yorke peninsula. It celebrates the life of the Cornish miners that worked the mines & is definitely a little peace of Cornwall set in the Australian countryside. It was about a 2 hour drive from Gawler & we arrived just in time to see the street parade in main street of Moonta.
