Albany

We have arrived in Albany to start our housesit on 16th December till end of January 2011. We have been very lucky with the houses & pets that we look after. this one is a cute Maltese terrier "Banjo".
We were in Albany in May this year & I will put up some of the photos from back then as I hadn't got the blog up & running then.

Amity which brought the first settlers & Major Edmund Lockyer & soldiers to Albany from eastern states, they arrived on Christmas day 1826. Took 6 weeks to sail around from Sydney

This rock is aptly named "Dog Rock" someone has even painted a collar around the neck!!
