Oakbank in Adelaide hills

We're on the market run this morning. Been to farmers market @ Mt Barker & Littlehampton. Drove to some more of the villages in the hills just to check them out. Making the most of having a car to run around in.

Off to Old time dance in Echunga (this is where our next housesit will be) tonight. Guess what we won the lucky door prize, complimentary double pass to next dance.

 

Oakbank is famous for the biggest picnic race meeting held in the Southern hemisphere. The Oakbank Easter racing carnival, established in 1874, brings thousands to the town to see Great Eastern steeplechase.
