After leaving the lookout at 13km peg, the fog started to get very heavy & by the time we got to 52km peg, it was almost a total WHITE OUT & decided it was time to get off the road & let the road trains have it all to themselves, far to dangerous to be on the road, as they couldn't see you until they were on top of you. I certainly didn't want to be road train kill!!!

Cliffs were only 300 metres from camp site, could hear the surf but very hard to see the clifftops
