Herbig Family Tree @ Springton

Friedrich Herbig a German tailor turned farmer arrived with his wife in SA in 1855 & travelled to Barossa valley where he leased 80 acres. Desperately poor, he decided to live in the famous Herbig family tree. The first two children of his 16 were born here.
