Quorn
Quorn retains much of its old world character with wide streets & charming heritage buildings. Grab a "Quornish pasty" & a Quandong pie (very over-rated for the price!!!)
One of Australia's best known steam train journeys has it home in Quorn. The rail line originallyknown as Port Augusta - Quorn railway opened in 1879. It closed 77 years later in 1956 until restored in 1974 by the Pichi Richi preservation society.
Trips depart on the weekend & chugs its way through rugged countryside along a narrow gauge line
How gorgeous is this old store, still has original display selves on wall & also sells a delicious coffee
