Gawler housesit

This is our home for next 5 weeks 29 April till 2 June. We are about 10kms south of Gawler in a suburb called Hillier. Most of the properties around here are Almond orchards or market gardens, semi rural.

Lovely gardens & pond

Grape vines. They look beautiful, but this being Autumn, bugger of a time, as the vines are shedding leaves & everyday need to sweep them up!!!!

The grapevine reminds of an Italian family's Sunday lunch, big table , loads of sunshine, under the grapevine!!!!! Heaps of people sitting around enjoying the day & plenty of home brewed vino!!!!

Sophie the gorgeous labrador

More vines & more leaves!!!

Our bedroom, the lovely quilt on the bed is my 60th birthday present from my friend Carol from Gosford. Doesn't it look lovely!!!

Sally's sister Wendy lives next door & this is their Almond grove

Front driveway

This is the longest driveway we have had, especially when you need to put out the rubbish bins, long way to end of the road!!! Luckily it's BOB'S JOB!!!!

We also have "LOVERS LANE" here. Twice we have been walking Sophie late in the afternoon. Two cars parked on side of the road & both occupants in back seat of 1 car & only the guy visible with his shirt off, back to the window & who knows what else is going on!!!! Can't see the 2nd person. Sprung them again today & they didn't hang around for us to come back up the road, trolley & all. Disappeared into the sunset!!!!!

Bob geting the trolley ready to take bins down to road

Reminds me of a rickshaw man in Asia!!!!
