Woody's Archery

SHERWOOD FOREST COMES TO WA COUNTRYSIDE !!!!!

We saw this place advertised in a tourist brochure "Hidden Treasures of the Great Southern" & decided it looked like fun & that we should give it ago. Tuition by State & National archery coach. 2 hour session for $15 each, what a bargain. Neither of us had tried it before & what a way to spend couple hours in countryside

Robin hood (alias Bob) practice shooting

Mocca the kelpie, all she wanted to do was play ball!!

More practice before heading out to the 10 target circuit, varying distances to fire @ each target

Check out the look on Maid Marion's face. OMG another BULLSEYE !!!

Outback to the long range targets, where you fire an arrow with more feathers on it & also tilt the bow towards the sky before releasing the arrow.

Robin Hood made the shot of 90 Metres but just missed the target & Maid Marion with a lighter bow made 75 Metres. But at the end of the day it was GIRL POWER that shot the best round 111 to 109, pretty close. Great experience
