Wilpena panorama in Hawker

Located in the centre of Hawker in the heart of South Australia's magnificent Flinders ranges. Jeff Morgan (artist) built a circular building to paint his panorama.

It's as good as it gets, an uninterrupted 360 degree view as seen from the highest point on Wilpena pound, St Mary's peak. The panorama was completed in January 2003 after 4000 hours, crammed in 13 months of intense painting.

Panorama is over 30 metres in circumference & nearly 4 metres in depth. Painted directly onto the gyprock wall

Ron's creek took 3000 hours to complete & is 15 metres long & 5 metres deep. Viewing it from either end provides you with a completely different perspective
