Hoover house @ Gwalia Ghost town

Hoover house was built by Herbert Hoover (mine manager) around 1898-99. It has now be fully restored to it's former glory & is a bed & breakfast guest house. House cost about 600 pounds to build which was a lot of money back then. It is built on the edge of the "Sons of Gwalia" mine. Herbert Hoover was an American who went onto become the 31st President of the States between 1929 -33.
