On our way out of town, thought we would have a look @ the Kalgoorlie airport. As you can see not a sole insight, we could have run amok. It was surprising to see it empty as it is a big "fly in fly out" airport for all the gold & nickel mines in the area.
48kms down the road is town of Kambalda, not a lot happening here. Town is split in two east & west Kambalda. Couldn't have a swim or beer at the pub as both were closed.
Drove up to top Redhill lookout & WOW there before us was Lake Lefroy a 510km salt lake. They do land wind sailing on the lake, but didn't managed to see any as it's only allowed on Sundays.
