London Bridge near Sandstone

5kms east of Sandstone on the road to Leinster we drove out to London bridge a natural sandstone bridge. Apparently it was a favourite picnic spot for the locals back in 1920-30's. Legend has it that a Afghan cameleer drove his team of camels across the top of the bridge. It has worn away alot & they ask you not to walk on it.

Look through the bridge & see how far it is to the horizon.

Also an Irishman built a brewery out here. He had built the brewery on top of the hills & dug out a cellar to keep the beer cold. Not sure how they kept it cold to get into the pub, especially when it was probably taken by horse & cart.

Another 25kms down the road was this breakaway lookout.
