Stairway to Moon @ Kambalda

After watching the most glorious sunset from top Red Hill lookout we decided that this was a good spot to camp for the night.



We were treated to the STAIRWAY TO MOON phenomenon, where the full moon rises up over, in this case salt lake & has a fantastic reflection across the lake. We had seen this in Broome & they make a big fuss for 3 nights when it happens during the dry season, markets etc. Tonite we were lucky & had it all to ourselves MAGIC


While we were watching the moon, 5 cars from town came up & when they saw us camped there they hightailed it back down to town. I reckon this lookout is probably TAIL LIGHT alley & there was NO LOVIN on the hill TONITE!!!!! Couple party poopers!!!
